What does Delete PDF Pages do?

Delete PDF Pages removes the pages you do not need from a PDF and saves a new copy without them. Type the page numbers or ranges to remove and the tool keeps everything else in the original order. Your original file is not changed; you download a new version.

How to use Delete PDF Pages

1. Choose the PDF file. The number of pages is shown.
2. Type the pages to remove, for example 1, 4-6.
3. Press Delete pages. The new PDF without those pages is downloaded.

When is it useful?

• Removing blank pages that a scanner added.
• Taking out pages with personal details before sharing a document.
• Dropping a cover page or advertising pages from a downloaded report.

Example

From a 12-page PDF, entering 2, 10-12 removes four pages and gives an 8-page PDF with pages 1 and 3-9 of the original.

Good to know

• Everything happens in your browser, so your PDF is never uploaded to our server. Very large files (hundreds of pages) can take a while on older phones.
• Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened. Remove the password with the program you used to set it, then try again.
• At least one page must remain, so you cannot delete every page.
